Parley Parker Pratt

Parley P. Pratt, an Apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, was born April 12, 1807 at Burlington, New York.  He was ordained an Apostle Feb. 21, 1835, under the hands of Joseph Smith, Oliver Cowdery, and David Whitmer, at Kirtland, OH, at the age of 27.  He was assassinated May 13, 1857 at Van Buren, Arkansas.^Source
