Wilford Woodruff


Wilford WoodruffWilford Woodruff, fourth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints,  was born March 1, 1807 in Avon, Connecticut.  He was ordained an Apostle Apr. 26, 1839, and became the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Apr. 7, 1889 at the age of 82 and died Sep. 2, 1898 at San Francisco, California.Source
