David O. McKay was
born September 8, 1873, at Huntsville, UT. He was ordained an
Apostle Apr. 9, 1906, by Joseph F. Smith at the age of 32. He was
sustained as President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
April 9, 1951. Pres. McKay passed away Jan 18, 1970 at Salt Lake City,
Utah, at the age of 96.
