Brigham Young Brigham Young, second President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born June 1, 1801 in Whittingham, Vermont. He was ordained an Apostle Feb. 14, 1835, and became the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Dec. 27, 1847 at the age of 46 and died Aug. 29, 1877 at Salt Lake City, Utah.Source Articles Web Links
